conclusion of Episode 500 of his radio show ASOT? Yes? Then sure
you are also aware of the launch of the 5-disc collection that the Dutch have
also prepared to commemorate this milestone in his radio program.
The best of this compilation is not based on these programs, but is

Ever striving forward in the sea of sounds, Australian producer Tyson Illingworth finds himself rocking the arch of EDM with many go-ahead productions. This promising talent continues to develop his own style and explore the indefinite possibilities of a sound that is recognizable but renewing at the same time. Maturing from the dark ‘Russia’ to the hauntingly eerie ‘Good Dream’, vocal beauties ‘You Walk Away’ and ‘Vanilla’, tyDi works towards the second artist album of his young, but impressive musical career.
‘Never Go Back’ is the luscious pre-tasting to what is about to come. The use of Brianna Holan’s vocals is truly outstanding for a prog-trance production, original in all ways and means. ‘Never Go Back’ is catchy and melodic, without falling into any pop-inspired clichés. Clinging to your mind form the very first play, this is another tyDi release to ease the wait for his next masterpiece to be released.
Tom Fall, the Finnish producer who’s currently making waves with his ‘Stillness’ and ‘All This Time’ EP, brought a more gentle flow to the original, with a twitch of electro and progressive. A real treat to the ears.
With seven quality studio albums, a Best-Of CD and DVD, seven mixed compilations and multiple hit singles, André Tanneberger, a.k.a. ATB has a remarkable, constantly successful record as a musician and DJ to show for himself. One of the keys to his success has definitely been the high standard he sets himself in his approach to his productions and songwriting.
ATB once again delivers an array of fantastic new songs on ‘Distant Earth’, which transcend the genres of dance, trance and pop. Album number eight also features collaborations with renowned artists – something of a trademark for ATB as his studio work has progressed. Guest appearances on ‘Distant Earth’ range from two of the hottest properties in trance music, the pioneering figures of Armin van Buuren and Dash Berlin to a remarkable team-up with Rea Garvey, who came to fame as lead singer of the international star act Reamonn.
ATB:“I had composed an instrumental track when it suddenly hit me that Rea’s voice would fit absolutely perfectly. The song actually turned out completely differently when we got together. I didn’t mind that a bit, as I had wanted to work with Rea for a long time already.”
The album title ‘Distant Earth’ is a reflection, in the broadest sense, of how André Tanneberger likes to experience music. “I aim to maintain a certain distance from daily life and the usual problems it entails. It feels good to close your eyes, step onto the dancefloor and forget everything around you. If this is how you feel when you listen to my album, then I have done what I set out to do” the artist continues.
‘Distant Earth’ presents two very different CDs. One pulsates with melodious club music, the other showcases a selection of more chilled out ATB songs, again demonstrating the range of his artistic expertise. Guest artists join him in this side of his music as well.

‘Distant Earth’ is further proof of ATB’s unique international sound. “My many trips over our planet give me no end of inspiration which can flow freely inside the studio” André acknowledges.
Dash Berlin has repeatedly been called ‘the fastest rising artist in Trance’ and deservedly so according to his ever-growing global fan base and the acclaimed IDMA’s who recently nominated the ‘Flying Dutchman’ as ‘Best European DJ’ among some of the biggest names in dance music. After the international success of his first official mix compilation Dash decided to institutionalize his ‘United Destination’ brand as an annual concept.
And the all-new ‘United Destination 2011’ certainly makes a convincing case for Dash Berlin, not only as a successful dance artist, but also as a truly skilled DJ, that keeps delivering beyond the hype that surrounds his energetic persona.
