Victor Dinaire Interview

From his early beginnings in the music industry, Victor Dinaire has embraced hard work and dedication as the road to success. Immersing himself in every facet of the industry – from handing out flyers to packing mailers as a record label intern, Victor’s humble roots have provided unique insight into what it takes to be successful both on the stage and off.1 .- What about Victor, welcome to tranceworld is a pleasure to have you here.

Thank you! I appreciate you having me.

2 .- For those who still do not know you, from what age did you start making your first mixes?

I started back in February 1997 when I was 21 years old.

3 .- Only you do to play?, you have another occupation?

I only work in the music / nightlife industry.

4 .- Only trance mixes? We also heard that techno and progressive which is these genres do you prefer?

I love Trance but I also play some House, Progressive and Techno.

5 .- “Denomination”, the track that ah was mixed by the best DJs in the world, excellenttrack victor. Tell us about it.

Thank you! Bissen and I were in the studio working on another project where we had difficulty with the direction so we stopped working. When we closed that project, we were just hanging out in the studio and chatting. While we were doing that, we were messing with samples and came across some interesting elements so we started a project with our new ideas and everything fell into place pretty quickly. Several hours later, Denomination was born.

6 .- That might tell us about your radio show “Lost Episode”as they start this?

Lost Episode was launched back in 2005. Before that, I did over 100 episodes of my other show “Future Progression” and almost 100 episodes of my first weekly radio show, “Peak Hour.” We now achieved 250 Lost Episodes! Hopefully many more in the future.

7.-What projects do you have in mind?, Some production?, a compilation? We canexpect this year’s Victor.

Lost Episode 2011 – Live at Voyeur is coming soon. Its a Live Mix CD with a DVD of some club footage from that night. It was recorded at Voyeur in San Diego, one of the nightclubs where I am a resident at. To date, its my favorite mix album! I cannot wait to release it and tour to support it. I also have several productions and remixes ready to come out. I also launched a club night in San Diego titled “Therapy” where I invite international Djs to perform alonside myself. So far we had Aly & Fila, John O’Callaghan, Tritonal, and John 00 Fleming. We will announce some more DJs in the coming weeks.

8 .- Victor, you dare to go outside of the United States?, a tour?

My goal is to take everything international but I have not concentrated on that just yet as I am working on the US territory first. Within the next 6-12 months, I will start performing actively in Europe and Asia. Occasionaly, I take a booking outside the US. I have played in Korea twice as well as Vietnam, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
